Mobilizing for Climate Action in Mississippi State University

Climate change is the biggest challenge of our generation, posing massive environmental challenges and disproportionately affecting underprivileged communities. The movement to address climate change must be led by young people, especially college students on the cusp of entering the workforce. The Mississippi State University Climate Reality Project is a student-led organization that educates the MSU community about the various effects of climate change. We also want to ensure that MSU receives 100% of its energy from renewable sources such as solar and wind. By working with faculty and MSU staff, we are creating a plan for MSU to transition over to 100% renewable energy as fast as economically possible.
